North Carolina’s new “Family Foster Care Act” makes it easier for young people in foster care to engage in commonplace activities enjoyed by other children and youth. This webinar considers why “normal” experiences are so important and explores implementation of the “reasonable and prudent parent standard.” Target audience: child welfare professionals from NC’s public and private child-placing agencies and Guardian ad Litem (GAL) program staff, volunteers, and attorneys.
