The target audience for this 90-minute presentation is all North Carolina county child welfare agency employees working in CPS In-Home or Permanency Planning Services or who use the DSS-5094 for IV-E claiming purposes. This presentation explains (1) the definition of “Candidacy for Foster Care,” with an emphasis on how to apply it to claiming for CPS In-Home Services, and (2) when IV-E funds can properly be claimed for reimbursement of administrative costs (worker time) for children in foster care.
