For years, young people in foster care have been prevented from participating in everyday activities essential for their development and for a successful transition to adulthood. Recent federal and state laws address this problem. This webinar considers why “normal” experiences are so important and explores implementation of North Carolina’s new “reasonable and prudent parent standard.” Target audience: youth in DSS custody, foster parents, kinship parents, group home staff, LINKS coordinators.
